What Makes Us Different

From your very first visit, you’ll see that H.O.P.E. isn’t afraid to be unique.

We don’t want to be like everyone else. We’re out to prove that “old-school” customer-first therapy models are the way to go.

We treat patients one at a time and our therapists see no more than 8 to 10 patients per day. Compare that to the common practice of seeing 2 to 4 patients at a time and 12-18 clients per day.

Pre-Surgical Rehabilitation

We can help you maximize your health and decrease your recovery time for your upcoming procedure. Together with your doctor, we’ll create a strengthening plan to get you as ready as possible before, to reduce downtime after.

Chemo & Radiation
Recovery Program

If you have been or are going through chemo or radiation, then this program is for you. Your individualized plan will focus on healing your whole body. Scar tissue and skin healing, pain/swelling/inflammation reduction, and improving range of motion and posture are just a few of the ways we can help.

Palliation Program:
Injury Reduction/ Relief

The Palliation Program is designed to help you lessen the side effects of your cancer treatments and improve your everyday quality of life. Our goal is to maximize your comfort – while decreasing your risk for future injuries – by preserving or improving your functional independence. Non-pharmalogical pain management treatments are available.

Restorative Program

After your cancer treatment or surgery, we can help you decrease recovery time and increase your quality of life. Our innovative and compassionate plan is tailored to you. We’ll work on decreasing the side effects post-cancer treatment and strengthening your whole body.

Lymphedema Treatment

There's Relief For Your Swelling

We are the only private practice lymphedema and oncology treatment center in the Lowcountry. Using a combination of manual therapy, exercises, skin care, and bandaging, we can help you reduce swelling in your arms, legs, and body.

We evaluate and treat with Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT).

I suffered a broken sacrum and hip tendinosis after a fall. I have learned how to use my body to achieve pain free mobility. Dennis and his team focused on my core muscles to improve posture, balance, and physical activity. The HOPE team also helped me with an old knee injury. Climbing stairs used to intimidate me. Now, I'm able to accept the challenge!
